Dependent Reaction on Light
Sunlight is necessary for this process to produce energy molecules (ATP & NADPH). Additionally, as the amount of photons (light) increases, more energy molecules are generated as a result of the increased photosynthesis.
Independent Light Reaction
In essence, the light-independent reaction creates new energy molecules from the energy molecules left over from the light-dependent reaction.
