First, ask the meeting host to provide you the link to the invitation. The format of this will be meet.google.com/xxx-xxxx-xxx. (The meeting code, which is used in the second method below, is the string of characters at the end of this URL.) When you click the link on a desktop computer, the meeting will be joined automatically. If you aren't already logged in, you must do so. However, if the host is using G Suite, you don't need to do this. If you have the Google Meet app installed on your phone or tablet, tap the link to open it and join the meeting.
The second approach is to request the meeting code from the meeting host. The meeting can then be joined by entering this.Go to the Google Meet website from a desktop and enter the code in the Enter meeting code section before clicking Join.Launch the Google Meet app on your phone or tablet, press Meeting code, type your code into the field, and then tap Join meeting.
