All users are welcome to create and join calls on Google Meet for free. The only thing you require is a Google account, which you already have if you use Gmail.
However, a premium G Suite subscription is required to use some Google Meet features. Every active user pays a monthly fee of $10 for this. Google's collaboration and productivity app suite, G Suite, is geared toward business users.
