Overweight or obesity is defined as weight that is higher than what is deemed healthy for a certain height. A screening technique for overweight and obesity is the body mass index (BMI).
BMI is calculated by dividing a person's height in meters squared by their weight in kilograms. High body fatness may be indicated by a high BMI.

- Your BMI is considered underweight if it is less than 18.5.
- Your BMI is between 18.5 and 25, which is considered a healthy weight level.
